Here Come Some Men 1 We have been waiting to see the last of you, To know it was the end, that we had all pulled through. Like a baby wrecking everything, They had to drag you out and put you in your swing. Chorus - You could not learn, but only yearn for more, You could not give and thus not live or soar. We've had enough can't handle any more Here come some men to show you out the door. We've had enough can't handle any more Here come some men to show you out the door. 2 So, can the world begin to relax, Learn to change, to handle basic facts? Or will we drag ourselves down low again, Led by greed and need, to fail to use our brains? Chorus - We could not learn, but only yearn for more, We could not give and thus not live or soar. We've had enough can't handle any more Here come some men to show you out the door. We've had enough can't handle any more Here come some men to show you out the door. We've had enough can't handle any more Here come some men to show you out the door. We've had enough can't handle any more Here come some men to show you out the door. We've had enough can't handle any more Here come some men to show you out the door. We've had enough can't handle any more Here come some men to show you out the door.

about

Our experiences in life, and our own personal, unique ways of coping with and learning from those experiences, cause each of us to continually, both consciously and unconsciously, construct and reconstruct ourselves, to rebuild our memories, confirm or reform our beliefs, and update our understandings of who and what we were, what we are, and where we fit into the big scheme, whatever that is. The sketches and songs on this album tend to be concerned with such ego construction-deconstruction-reconstruction issues.

about

Gary Deatherage Creston, British Columbia

While my more polished songs usually gravitate to II Cosmic or Howling Wannabes albums, the Deep Dude albums often provide homes for simpler songs, songs that are topical, or ones that are somehow different than usual for me..
